Why Apple design going back to 2020?

After the release of the most awaited iPhone 16, people remain confused about the new design language of the iPhone 16.

It’s September again! Apple entered with yet another series of iPhones.

Apple launched its iPhone series every year in September. With many significant upgrades from the last series in cameras, software, hardware, design, etc., All 4 variants of the iPhone now include Apple intelligence and AI tricks, which have been a significant focus of phone production companies in recent years. However, the rumors about the iPhone 16 design being similar to the iPhone 12 and before are what caught the attention of the internet.

Why vertical camera design?

Apple’s new base series of iPhone 16, i.e., the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus, comes with a vertical camera lineup. This is not just a camera displacement trick to change the design lineup; it actually has a huge use case.

The updated rear camera includes a 48MP fusion camera, 12MP 2X telephoto, and a new 12MP ultrawide camera. The camera’s alignment helps the iPhone 16 to take photos as spatial photos, which will be useful for capturing moments in 3D and can be viewed best in the Apple Vision Pro series.

So, the new camera design Apple has its own use case to be able to capture special photo videos. Apple goes all in into spatial photos, starting from the base variant of this year’s iPhone 16.
